Hi, my name is Prem Rawat, and I'm so glad to be participating in International Peace Day. The importance of peace is for all of us. Sometimes we forget how important it is. But to be reminded that this is what our heart wants, that this is what is going to make a difference in this world, that this is the thirst for every single human being on the face of this earth.

We have many ideas, we have many projects, but to be a part of this noble cause that the peace be on this earth, that the peace dances in the heart of human beings, is amazing. It's incredible and to be a part of that, to understand it and to make it possible. I am just one small voice. It is when all the voices of the world will join together that this could become a reality. It is time. We have fought our wars, We have had our wars. But it is time now for peace, peace in the heart of all human beings. In the future generations to come, this is what they need. This is what we need. This is what our hearts have desired for such a long time. And to see the enthusiasm around the world from those people who want to make this a reality is simply amazing.

So once again thank you, thank you so much to be a part of this beautiful beautiful endeavor. Thank you

I was talking to somebody whose mother passed away. And this person was "What about this, what about that". And I said something to him that even I liked it!

I said, "think of her as the earth and the moon. Moon came from the earth, and as it separated and went out, it's just there. It's not part of the earth anymore, but it's just there. Going around the earth beautifully, affecting it. Every night, every day- making the tides, the life, the motion. All you have to do, is look up and see the reflection of sun on it's beautiful surface- Glowing. For those who go, think of them the same way. Your little world, now they're the moon, and hopefully they're going to affect you in the most beautiful way that you're going to remember. On the night when it is really dark they'll glow for you, not only to admire but maybe see by."

Corleone, Sicily, and Palermo- city of war turns to city of peace [03:19 min] Peace is contagious, happiness is contagious!
Peace is important, that is what Sicily is about.
Maharaji: "I want you to ask yourself, What do you practice the most. Because whatever you practice the most, you're going to become good at it!
If you practise kindness, you're going to get good at it.
The strongest country in the world should be the kindest country in the world. I am not here to give you peace, I'm here to put this idea in your head that peace exists inside of you. All I wanted to do, is to come here today and really let you feel that this is a new step. But when it comes to feeling that peace inside, this remains our own responsibility. A journey of a thousand miles, begins with the first step. Please... Take the first step!"

The Time has Come [04:17 min] You want to do something really fun? Really cool? Really neat? Really beautiful? Really worth doing? Do you? Then work on bringing peace on earth. Lot of people, I think are waiting that some people on the moon are gonna come and bring peace to us. It is not happening. We have to take care on our own, all of us. Because scientifically its proven, a biiig distance is nobody else, except us. So, start to like your neighbour because you know what, you are stuck with them. Nobody else around, except us. Good, bad, right, wrong, us, us, us. I am so proud of all of you who could come to participate in not definition of peace, but to realize the possibility, that maybe, through our efforts, one day, there will be peace on earth. If we can go to the moon. Why not? It’s an old idea, I agree. May be, having peace on earth, is a very old idea. But may be the time has come, the time has come. The time is now.

Infosys Pune: Business of Life [04:29 min] Prem addressed the employees of Infosys at Pune campus.
When we come in this world, We are given seeds. And this is of course a metaphor
But its true that we are human beings. But the opportunity truly is, what we do with these seeds. And what are these seeds?
Well we can begin with very simple stuffs. One of the seeds can be the seed of kindness, There is a seed of love, there is a seed of understanding, and there is a seed of doubt, there is a seed of confusion. And it always becomes- whatever seed it is that you have sown in your garden- garden of life, garden of existence, then ultimately this is what you are going to sit under and rest, and how restful it will be, directly depends, on what kind of seed you sow.
So every seed that you have, has a particular quality, has something that it offers, but when it is sown, and when it bears itself, when it grows and becomes a tree, it is going to have very particular characteristics which you may or may not like.
I am not here to pass judgement, nor am I here to try to advertise what kind of seed it is that you should have sown.
I think that if I merely point out some of the characteristics of these, then you are capable of making that decision for yourself, that fundamentally being human, you have enough intelligence to choose from clarity, to choose what will benefit you the most, each one of us within ourselves, carries an innate need and this need is never dictated by the world, it is our need, and it is fundamental to every human being.
This is the need that we have when we were young, it is the need that will stay there throughout our lives and will be there till the very end.
This is who we are- This is one of our natures.

Talking about the book- Peace is Possible by Andrea Cagan [04:50 min] Life isn’t about problems. If you have patience, a lot of problems disappear.
Life is about being alive. What do YOU focus on?
I haven’t read that book, people have told me it's very good. The person who wrote it also wrote to me Continue, you are doing such a great job
The book isn’t finished yet, right? It’s still going on!

Prem Rawat in Europe [04:53 min] In July 2009, Maharaji completed an extensive tour of Europe, attending 14 events in just 28 days. He visited many cities for the first time. The tour began with an event in Potenza, Italy. Maharaji was invited by the governers of the region and was given the title "Ambassador of Peace". Maharaji then went to Rome, Italy, Vienna, Austria, Ljubljana, Slovenia and Athens, Greece.
Next stop Dublin, Ireland for a public event(with a notice of just 48 hours!) followed by an event in Glasgow the next day.
Just 2 days later Maharaji was in Strasbourg, France and the very next day in Lisbon, Portugal. This was followed by events in Bristol, UK Cheltenham, UK Munich, Germany and Belgrade, Serbia.
Lastly Maharaji spoke at a studio event in Barcelona, Spain which was broadcast live to over one million people in India.

Oxford University, United Kingdom [04:57 min] What I have to talk about is really quite simple. It deals with one human being- one person, one individual, who breathes, thinks, wants to understand, wants to learn. Sometimes, in the pursuit of all that we pursue in this world, we forget about us. Who am I? Who are you? You are unique. There is no one like you. I cannot emphasize enough the uniqueness of every human being on the face of this earth.

Learning is a process that will happen for every single person. This is our nature. Learning will happen, but amongst all the things we learn, what is the most important thing to learn? Millions have come through these gates to learn, understand, and go on in their lives to be successful and prosperous. But there is one kind of prosperity that was talked about a very, very long time ago: Know thyself.
