Is peace a manifestation of something which is happening inside a human being or is peace something on the outside only and this is where we have to slow down because the definitions are abundant. But what is peace, where does the desire for peace come from? The desire for peace is innate to every single human being on the face of this earth. This question, in my opinion is the pivotal question.
Because You Are Alive [06:12 min]
Because you are alive, you will make a voyage and what will this voyage be like, no one knows, you are given a vessel, this human body and by the very fact that it exists, it will make a voyage, it will go truly where no one has been before. All the logic and reasoning precludes reality. And reality is what you have to deal with every single day. Even though you do the same job every day, No two days are alike. Every day is different. It is not just a question of good and bad. It is a question of how you view that. How do you make this voyage, how does it happen? Who are you and what is the purpose of this voyage?
It’s About You and Me [03:51 min]
I am here to talk about something very simple but at the same time it touches every one of us and it is about this journey, this life, this existence. Not an idea, not a theory, not rules, not some printed pages but about you and me. Because the most incredible thing thats taking place is not all the things that you read in the newspaper, it is not a thing which is there in your library. And this important thing is that "You are alive!", now what? What does it mean to you? We have interpretations of what it means to be alive. The focus is not about those things, the focus is your existence, your being on the face of this earth. This will never happen again. The house that you live in, other ones will live in it. What is yours? What is it that you consider truly yours that no one can take away from you? Do you know it?

Human being is an incredibly fine, sensitive, experiencing instrument. That truth resides in you and it will sing out. That is the ultimate passion. Play this instrument. Its resonance, its gratitude, contentment, peace, joy, these are the nodes of this instrument. Play it with the passion it deserves. Fortunately or unfortunately till you play, that yearning will never go away and if you play it that yearning will increase. In my book when something is like that that without it the yearning never goes away and with it the yearning increases then this is the most accurate description of true passion. And that is the passion you need in your life.
Made to Enjoy [09:09 min]
Who are you? What are you? What is this body all about? You try to make this body comfortable. What do you do when you go buy a shoe? You put them on! And then you walk, WHY? To make sure that these shoes have not been worn before? You walk in those shoes to make sure they are comfortable! So we spend a lot of time, a lot of energy to make sure our body is externally comfortable. Do we also spend that time to make sure that our life, our existence is internally comfortable or do we learn how to live with disparity, with anger and confusion? This is dirt! And you spend so much time making dirt comfortable. Why? Because this is how you are made. It is important for self-preservation of this body that it does not like pain. Something hot, "Reaction", because it does not like pain. What have we done in our lives to make ourselves comfortable within? This dirt moves, it talks, it sees, it smells, it tastes, why? And not only does it smell, it likes to smell that that brings it joy. Seeing- what does it like to see, that what brings you enjoyment. This is how you are. This is who you are. Make no mistake. Your existence wants to be fulfilled. What does your heart want to do. It wants to enjoy and what can your heart enjoy, this is the question.
How people portray God- Amusing [06:47 min]
Be in that joy, in that understanding, of what you have been given. The greatest of the gifts is coming and going of this breath that you receive. And this is the blessing. You want to be blessed? You are blessed. People say that to me "O Maharaji, I want to be blessed" and I say to them do you have any idea how many time you have already been blessed? Do you really want to know if there is a God. When I say God, I don't mean to say a God with a face, and two eyes and a Temperament. I mean the way people present or portray God - Touchy, Touchy, Touchy! You put this glass over here - that's it you're gone - Pitch fork and barbequed. You are toasted!
I don't know if you have ever watched Clint Eastwood movies- With cigarette in the mouth that twinkle in the eye, and hand on the Gun - Make my day! The way people portray God, is almost working for the devil. No, not the face, not make-my-day type of God. I'm talking of God who is truly Omnipotent, is Omniscient, and is Omnipresent. Doesn't need a face, doesn't need twinkle in the eye, doesn't need bad temperament. But passion and compassion, and in this Universe and the universes beyond, holding them all together. From dust creates the Sun, the moon, the earth. And for all of it to go on. from nothing to create everything. From nothing to create this earth. To create ceiling without the pillars. And you to have the ability to witness this, not just see. To see is one thing, but be able to admire.
The Want for Peace [05:07 min]
Where did the idea of peace come from? The want for peace has been on the face of this earth as long as there have been human beings, the need for peace was identified a long time ago and a very open formula was also presented to the world a long time ago and the formula said "Peace then Prosperity". The need for peace comes from within you. It is not an intellectual peace. Peace is a desire of your heart. Because in you lies the possibility of peace. The face of peace is none other than yourself when you are in peace. Peace does not belong to any nation or society or religion. Peace belongs to people, like you and me and the peace will manifest in the cathedral of your heart. That is the only pure place that is.
The Core Is You [03:37 min]
To understand in this life, to understand your existence. There is a big difference between shadow and you. Even though the shadow is cast by you, you are not your shadow. When the sun goes down, the shadow will not be there, but you will be. And this is the distinction. These things exists because I exist but these are not my existence. All these things I rely upon exist because of me but I do not exist because of them. The Core is You. You exist. And because you exist there are certain things that also exist, and how unfortunate it is that we start associate ourselves with those things and pretty soon we say, "Well, they are me. I am them." They are there, but you are not. Your life, your understanding, your steps, your journey, your elation and your filling of heart is the process of contentment.
Incredible Miracle [03:30 min]
Today a miracle happened- did you know that? A miracle took place! And this miracle wasn’t about milk out of the walls. This miracle is made possible by the most divine. And the miracle was your existence today. And then if you are alive tomorrow, it wil happen again. And it is the miracle of all miracles. Today in your life- there is a possibility of being content. And wait- it gets better- today is the possibility in your life of being happy, of being thankful. Because you were happy, because you had peace, because you were content, and understood the essence of knowledge, the essence of learning. You may have a lot of knowledge but may not understand it. It's no good. That which you understand becomes yours! Freedom- What is true freedom? I don’t speak of freedom that other people think of. I am talking of freedom that can be experienced in prison. When you are locked up, has your freedom been taken away? Yes! One freedom has been taken away, but there is another freedom that cannot be taken away- even in prison. And that's the real freedom. Peace that can be felt in the middle of the battlefield- that's the real peace. Nobody can take away from you. And that's your reality. And that is Who you are!
Passion- the ultimate love [04:26 min]
I have been observing how people use words, and there has been a shift for sure. "love- like". Where the word should be "like", people start using "love". And those are just words, and what difference does it make? When you say- I love my car- and people start believing that they love their car. You can’t really "love" your car. You can only "like" your car. People say- I just Love gardening! That's my passion. Okay, that's your hobby and you like it. But it isn’t that if you are dying, you will say- No, no I need to be in garden, don't take me to hospital!
When I want to be passionate about something, it needs to be truly real- not just figment of imagination. So what is it- that's truly real, amazing, incredible, not imagination? Not only it does have to be real, but it has to be amazing. Then- to unleash! Passion is not one of the things that you generate. Passion is something you only unleash. You just open the gates, and it comes pouring in.
Every human being has a capacity to love. I am not just talking of love, I am talking of the ultimate love. All the things put in front of it may inspire some amount of love. But the right thing placed in front of it- would make it dynamically explode! Infinite passion- this is every single human being’s capacity.
