Excerpts from Events

Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) in Lisbon, Portugal Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) in Lisbon, Portugal [02:49 min] In the tradition of YPO, I'm going to share my experience with you. 40 years ago I was 13 years old. My objective was to take a message to the people of the world. And it had to do with human beings and to cause them to explore themselves as the source of Peace.

We want success, and I say to you, there should be two types of success. One is in your business life. That has to be successful. But there is another one. And your business life's success will be judged by others. But there is one success that cannot be judged by others and that is the success that you feel you are in your life.

You too have an incredible potential; not as a CEO but as a human being. That's part of my message- As a human being. And when you understand what it means to be alive, I can tell you, all the rest of the successes will follow!
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - The blooming called peace The blooming called peace [02:47 min] Prem Rawat speaking in Milan, Italy
Every human being is a seed. I'm not a philosopher. Because a philosopher would talk about the potential of the seed, I talk about the realization of that potential. I'm not a philosopher, I'm much closer to a gardener. Prepare field of your understanding. And then take this existence that you have and sow it in this field. Give it the water of knowing, not believing. Give it the light of clarity. And watch this seed bloom! This blooming is called Peace.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Prem Rawat asked to define peace Prem Rawat asked to define peace [02:45 min] On the 23rd of May 2013, Prem Rawat spoke at the UWC Red Cross Nordic college in Flekke, Norway to an audience of students and faculty.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Thirst and focus Thirst and focus [02:39 min] Prem Rawat speaking in Mexico City, Mexico
Live your life with the thirst and focus, and you'll succeed in whatever you want. Find the water- the water that dwells within you. The answer that is waiting to be recognized.
You're looking for peace, and peace is looking for you! And what do you need to do? Be still; stop running around.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Make the connection Make the connection [02:32 min] What is this message all about? Really it goes back to what this life is all about- what this existence all about. And even more so, it goes back to the little story, that is yours. Your story. We're also interested in everyone else's story. We're very interested in knowing what's going on in this world. Are you interested in what's going on in your little world. This is what I talk about.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - That's what I do That's what I do [02:25 min] Reality is much more beautiful than fantasy. Because there is someone actually with whom you can live with 'Happily ever After'. And that is in your heart. No conflicts, no judgement.

This is the reality my friend. You're here and you are the ocean of peace, of kindness, of understanding, of happiness. Look within and you'll see what I'm talking about. And, if you do not know how to look within (opens his arms)- This I'm good at! That's what I do.

I'm not here to sell you anything. You search, wherever you find it; perfect. Be happy, enjoy it, be content. Flourish. But if you don't find it, look me up.

I've this way, I call it knowledge; To know. That can take your attention from outside, turn it inside and you can feel that ocean inside of you. That's it. That's what I do.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - A singular focus A singular focus [02:25 min] Prem Rawat speaking in Washington, D.C., USA
The question becomes- Is the focus to have that joy to have that joy in this life. Is the focus to be content and fulfilled? Or is the focus in bewilderment.
What you do entertain as a thought every single day? Gratitude? Or I wonder what happens next! Bewilderment will not bring you gratification. Never has, never will. Knowing, feeling, experiencing- will!
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - The sweetest and simplest place The sweetest and simplest place [02:23 min] All my dreams have come true.
I still dream of other things but all my dreams have come true . Because I am alive, because I exist.
This in the sweetest and most simplest way becomes my home, you are at home! This is your home, this existence is your home.
Be in that serenity!
Be in that contentment!
Be in that joy. For the person who is singing, which note can he sing on? For the person who is playing the piano, which note has he a license to play an off-key? "None!"
On a piano it is not about the keys that are not played, it is about the keys that are played.
Enhance those keys should be that the sound that comes evokes the feelings that it should evoke!
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Berkeley University- California Berkeley University- California [02:23 min] Speaking to a distinguished set of guests, faculty and the students at University of California, Berkeley, Maharaji said:
What I am talking about is very very simple. In a way it's about you. But not in a way that you have heard it before because people come and address other people. And what is talked about is how it could be. And I am not here to talk about that. What I have to talk about is, How it is!
Everything that you need to make the dream come true, you already have. It is within you. And this is a wonderful and exciting reality. Recognize what you have been given.
I am not here to tell you how to lead your life. What I am here to tell you do whatever you have to but do not forget the thirst of your heart. Don't forget your innate call. Don't forget your own nature of who you are. Don't forget the gem of a treasure that you have been given. Find the unchangeable and you too can enjoy this ride of life like you never imagined.
