When we offer a hand of help, it is on equal ground, with respect for each person as a human being."

The efforts of TPRF are funded by the generosity of donors from over 50 countries. Most of the Foundation’s staff, including the Board of Directors, are volunteers. "There is a war," Prem Rawat told an audience that included royalty, business leaders, diplomats and delegates from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the U.S., Britain and Australia, "not necessarily with guns and bullets, but going on here"-in the mind-"because that's what we have gotten to.

"It is time to practice peace," he said. "It is time to practice consciousness. It is time to practice kindness. It is time to practice embracing each other. If we forget the human being in humanity, if we cannot get along, then heaven help us. Unification begins with each one of us."
