What is really really simple? We live our lives and there are many complexities. Good bad right wrong, we have many judgements. Sometimes it seems we have gone forward, sometimes it seems we have gone backward. And if we see through this window, then it doesn't seem like something can be simple. But if we take away all that is unnecessary, and then Look at this life, look at this existence. The breath comes- no judgement, no prerequisites, no forms to fill out, no queues to stand it, no waiting game, No .net or .com to log onto. It just comes.

The life of being alive dances and plays out everyday in the most serene and simplest of ways possible. You are. Every morning that comes- You exist. Not through the avenues of this world, but just you. A lot of people sitting there are thinking, it's not like that. We have got lot of problems in this world, and we have to find a solution to this.

I will give an analogy. There is this person who is born and raised in a big castle. But one thing this person has never done is to look at themselves. There is no mirror, so they have never seen themselves. All other entertainments are available. Somehow this person dreams to be beautiful. And the fact of the matter is, this person is exquisitely beautiful. And everyday this person laments, "Oh, I wish I could be beautiful". If only they could see how beautiful they are. This is my passion. I go around the world, I don't have written speeches. If you would ask me backstage on what I'm going to talk about, I'll have no idea. You have thousands of drawers that are filled with things that promise to bring beauty to us. I want to tell you, you don't need all of those. You just need a mirror to see how beautiful you already are.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Rags to Riches Rags to Riches [03:17 min] It is a nice story which Maharaji narrated in one of the events. The story is about a poor man who was picked by his king and given a job. Gradually, after working hard, he became one of the kings ministers. The kings other ministers were terribly jealous of this man.
This man had a room which had a box and he used to spend a lot of time with the box. Jealous of this man, the other ministers traduced the king. The king had immense trust and faith on this man, however, the king believed the hearsay and got suspicious of the man.
The king decided to catch the man red handed. One day, he decided to follow the man. He followed the man to the room and knocked at the door once the man was inside. The man humbly opened the door and invited the king inside. The king asked him what he does everyday in the room and what had he hidden in the box. The king accused him of theft and ordered him to open the box. The man opened the box, but it had nothing but a set of torn clothes.
The man tells the king, "I come here everday and wear these clothes once for a while. These clothes remind me of where I was and where are my grounds. Looking at them I am grateful for what I am today."
The creator has bestowed upon each one of us, a source of ultimate joy and peace, which can be felt. But we forget this fact in the glitter of this world. In the company of the true master, we get the inspiration to find the peace and joy which lies in the heart through which we can get gratitude.

Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Jeremy Gilley in Conversation with Prem Rawat Jeremy Gilley in Conversation with Prem Rawat [23:52 min] In May 2013 Prem Rawat met with Jeremy Gilley to talk about peace, its importance, and understanding how it might be spread. This conversation is part of PeaceBeat's 48-hour webcast.

With a series of terrible armed conflicts during the 1990's, Jeremy Gilley, a British actor and filmmaker, wanted to know why peace was so distant. As a young man Jeremy was frustrated, angry and confused about the appalling suffering that was going on in the world. But he decided he wanted to do something about it. And so began a journey to try and create at least one fixed day where the world would be at peace.

Jeremy's strategy was to make a documentary about his efforts to establish a global day of peace, believing, quite reasonably, that he would fail. However, he felt that in failing, his film would place a spotlight on the issues of peace, and embarrass politicians and global leaders into action. Against his wildest expectations, the 21st September was unanimously adopted by all countries of the United Nations as Peace Day.

Jeremy has subsequently gone on to establish the NGO Peace One Day to campaign for global recognition and acceptance of the day.
