The Prem Rawat Foundation launches food aid initiative

In a ceremony that took place in Bantoli, a village in the state of Jharkand, Prem Rawat, also known as Maharaji, laid the cornerstone for the foundation of a facility that will bring free nutritious meals to children and adults in the area. Prem Rawat said, "I am very glad to see this project being launched. When I first came here, I saw that the people were very rich in heart, but lacked the most basic necessities. I felt it would be good if a facility were developed where food could be made available to the needy.
