If breath was truly valuable to you, you wouldn’t waste it on anything that wasn’t worth it to you. It’s the commodity! When you are in fear—when you’re in fear, you pay for it by the currency of your breath. Right? Because breath is still coming and going! And you’re in fear! But when you find that beauty inside of you, when you find that ocean of serenity inside of you, when you find that peace inside of you, now you are conducting fair trade. Yes, this breath is still coming and going—but what it’s bringing, what it’s making possible, is allowing my heart to be filled with gratitude, allowing myself to be filled with gratitude, allowing me to be human!
