Prem Rawat - Maharaji - The story of Two Monks The story of Two Monks [06:12 min] Two monks were one day traveling. They saw a woman drowning. They were both akin to mahatmas- head shaven, in saffron clothes. One said that we have to save the drowning woman. The other said no, you are not to even touch the woman.
The first jumped in the water, carried the woman on his shoulders and placed her out on the side. The other said, "Oh my god! You touched the woman, your religion is ruined, you are going to hell. We are going to the Master - I''m going to tell him all that you have done."
Traveling and traveling, after six hours they reached the ashram.

Upon reaching the ashram, they paid respects to the Master and the other instantly started telling the Master about the incidence, that the first touched a woman "she was drowning, he should have let her drown, wasn’t a big deal - what kind of a mahatma is he?" The Master smiled and asked the first, "Did you truly jump in the water?" The first replied, "Yes I did." The master asked, "How long did it take you to bring the woman out of the water onto the land?" The first replied, "It would have taken two minutes." The Master asked, "And how long did it take you to get here from the place of incidence?" The first replied, "It took six hours."

The Master turned to the other and said, "He had only touched the woman for two minutes. You, however, are carrying her in your heart for six hours! So who is the sinner? Him, who you allege, or yourself? He had let go in two minutes but you didn’t for six hours and still are not willing to let go!"
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Is Parmanand just a word or an experience? Is Parmanand just a word or an experience? [41:30 min] There are two things that call out to you: Your heart, and your mind.
There has been calling from the heart, and you need to recognize that. People get more into naming it. What lies in the name? If I call by any other name, will it stop shining for me? Whatever name I use to call the creator, it won't make a difference. The nature doesn't care about the name.
In my life 'parmanand' is not just a theory. It is experience for me. In your life too 'parmanand' shouldn't be just a word; you have experience of parmanand. There's a been a lot about the word. It's time for experience now.

I'm talking about the thing which keeps going on in you, whether you're happy, or whether you're sad. It goes regardless of everything else. What is it?
He Ram, tere naam ka mujhko aadhar hai
Andhe ko jaise laakdi
Tan ka sahaar hai

When sadness comes in people's life, they need support. There are a lot of people who tell how to prevent sadness. But master says "Sadness will come anyways."
Nanak Dukhiya sub sansara
Sukhiya kewal naam adhaara

Will it rain? Yes it will. If not today, tomorrow! And when it happens, will you have the umbrella or not? If you've the umbrella, you won't get wet. I'm referring rain to sadness. The day you will have to get wet, you'll pin-point and blame everyone for your sadness. You won't even spare God. But you'll be the real reason for the situation.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Kyunki tum manushya ho Kyunki tum manushya ho [10:50 min] Who are you? You are alive and you are a human being, that is all. If you want to enjoy the process of self-discovery you need to have the thirst. There is no one in this world who does not want peace.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Hamari prakriti- Our nature Hamari prakriti- Our nature [14:59 min] I've brought good news for you- that you're alive! This breath coming to you. The creator has given this opportunity to you. There can't be any news better than this! Till today, we've been pondering over things that we din't get. Because people always create the list of things that they don't have. People go to Temple, mosque or church; for what? To ask for things that they don't have. I want to bring your attention to things that you have. What is your true nature? And how powerful is this nature?
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh- India Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh- India [16:23 min] Clip from event in Hardoi, which was attended by over 100,000 people. This is about you. Not about your family. Not about your country. About the person in whose body the breath comes.
What has been said about that?
In every heart, my lord resides;
None has been left devoid.
Blessed is that heart,
in which he manifests!
This is about you. There are many talkers, but don't include me amongst them. Because I've not come here just to talk. I also explain and give something. And those who want to receive, they can.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Gwalior, India Gwalior, India [20:03 min] Whatever you consider as happiness or sorrow in this world, all the great saints and sages have said not to indulge into them. If you want to get into something, get into the peace within you. Get inside and feel the beauty in your heart. That is truth. Today you are alive and you think that you have conquered time. No, thats not correct. Time is ruling you. You are not ruling time. So, what should you do? Fulfill your heart. Do not forget to listen to the call of your heart. If you want to feel heaven on this earth, in this life, then go within and feel the peace which resides in you.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Bangalore, India- February 2012 Bangalore, India- February 2012 [50:33 min] On February 11th, Maharaji traveled to Bangalore: a major city sometimes termed the "Silicon Valley of India" for its technology industry. A field had been set up with stage, screen and seats, ready to accommodate hundreds of eager listeners. As the day faded, Maharaji spoke to his audience about the nature of true thirst- and how, while that thirst is innate, we can easily forget it's there.

You look beautiful when peace dances on your face. That's when you look beautiful. And that is your true form- you don't know this form. This is your thirst, and you don't know your thirst. This is your hunger, but you don't know this hunger. And the day you recognize your true hunger, your true thirst, then everything will change for you. Because what you're looking for, you will find within you, very close to you. That's my message.

When it comes to matters of the heart, how can you compromise? The heart will not accept it. The heart wants the reality. The heart wants experience. Not somebody sitting there and telling you that you've had food- you've eaten, and it's done. What is done? So, I say that you're thirsty. You are thirsty to experience that supreme bliss.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Aaj- Today Aaj- Today [01:36 min] Coming and going from this world - is like the waves come and go. This is your life. There was darkness before sunrise, and there will be, after sunset. But this day that you've got - what will you do today? Because this life is today. In this life of today, will come afternoon and then the dusk, and thenn the sun will slowly set.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Shehnai maestro Bismillah Khan Performs at an event Shehnai maestro Bismillah Khan Performs at an event [08:08 min] Bismillah Khan, the master of shehnai (a classical Indian musical instrument) Plays in front of over 1 lakh people and Maharaji. He says "It was my destiny that I got the chance to play in front of you. I dont want anything, I accept whatever you have to offer!"
Khan was perhaps single handedly responsible for making the shehnai a famous classical instrument. He brought the shehnai to the center stage of Indian music with his concert in the Calcutta All India Music Conference in 1937. He was credited with having almost monopoly over the instrument as he and the shehnai are almost synomyms.
If you dont like classical music, do give it a chance. Your opinion would change. Its beyond the boundary of country & lauguage
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Why did I come here? Why did I come here? [05:11 min] So, last night around 3am, I was lying there with my eyes open, thinking that there is this world and there are all these religions.
And everyone has been explained that if you go on pilgrimages, do charity, austerity, then after you die, you will go to heaven. So I started thinking that whatever that creator has created, is it pure or not?

The creator doesn't have hands like you and I do, but he also has hands and he has created this entire universe. So, that supreme-being, who himself has created the entire universe- even this earth, on which you are alive now, who created this? Was there a middle-man who created this?
Did someone come from somewhere else, to create this earth? My point is, that this earth too is created by that same supreme-being. So if he has created this, then isn't this heaven? Meaning, wherever his hands would touch. How are pilgrimages formed? Wherever his feet touch, wherever his hands touch, will become sacred. Forget the hands, feet legs, nose, ears- He has created this (earth). So many times he would have touched this, with the hands that he has. And you don't consider this heaven. What beliefs have you got? But people don't consider this heaven, they don't consider this existence to be heaven. All they think is that I'm here and I need to do good deeds, and if I do good deeds, then after I die, I will find heaven.

What is good deed? Ask Muslim, he'll say something else. Ask a Hindu, he'll say something different. Right? Ask a Christian, he'll say something different. They will endorse their books, their scriptures- "This is what is written, this is what is written".
But what is it that you have experienced in your life? Most important thing! What is your experience? Even with all these things, why does the human ask this one question: Why have I come here? Everyone asks. I say that there are two kinds of people- those who have asked, and those who haven't- and those who haven't, will. When they get a beating on their heads, then they will ask. And those who have asked, have searched. So even after reading numerous religious scriptures that there are, why does a human still ask, why did I come here?
