Prem Rawat - Maharaji - The story of Two Monks The story of Two Monks [06:12 min] Two monks were one day traveling. They saw a woman drowning. They were both akin to mahatmas- head shaven, in saffron clothes. One said that we have to save the drowning woman. The other said no, you are not to even touch the woman.
The first jumped in the water, carried the woman on his shoulders and placed her out on the side. The other said, "Oh my god! You touched the woman, your religion is ruined, you are going to hell. We are going to the Master - I''m going to tell him all that you have done."
Traveling and traveling, after six hours they reached the ashram.

Upon reaching the ashram, they paid respects to the Master and the other instantly started telling the Master about the incidence, that the first touched a woman "she was drowning, he should have let her drown, wasn’t a big deal - what kind of a mahatma is he?" The Master smiled and asked the first, "Did you truly jump in the water?" The first replied, "Yes I did." The master asked, "How long did it take you to bring the woman out of the water onto the land?" The first replied, "It would have taken two minutes." The Master asked, "And how long did it take you to get here from the place of incidence?" The first replied, "It took six hours."

The Master turned to the other and said, "He had only touched the woman for two minutes. You, however, are carrying her in your heart for six hours! So who is the sinner? Him, who you allege, or yourself? He had let go in two minutes but you didn’t for six hours and still are not willing to let go!"
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Boond aur Samudra- The Ocean and the Drop Boond aur Samudra- The Ocean and the Drop [01:19 min]
Boond samayi samudra mein, ye jaane sab koye,
Samudra samaya boond mein, boojhe birla koye

Only a few can understand this, that you are that drop and within you resides the ocean of all oceans. Did you understand that? And if you have understood, then serach and fulfill your existence. This is why you have come here.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Sansar- The Universe Sansar- The Universe [04:34 min] All the joy and and sorrow there are in this universe. Beyond all these joys and sorrows there is another universe in which there is a different kind of joy and sorrow. That universe in unique and that universe is within you. Now people will question and reason that joy and sorrow is in that universe also? Shouldn't that universe only have joy and have no sorrow? But no, in that universe also there is one sorrow and there is one joy. What is that sorrow? Not attaining that joy, in that universe, that universe of the heart, is the greatest sorrow. Not having attained that peace that is present within you. To the heart there is no greater sorrow than that. For it, the heart cries. That know it, agree with it. The heart has nothing to do with the issues and things on the outside. The heart has only one agenda. It needs peace. And this peace is not mere words.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Shaanti kya hai? Shaanti kya hai? [02:00 min] Recently, I was in Italy. While I was there, I asked "What is peace?". You must have heard many definitions about peace. When wars end, there is peace. This is not peace. When there are no quarrels in the house, this is not peace. But you know what peace really is? Peace is the perfume of God. For the one who is close to God, the one who is with God, the one who has known the creator in his heart, who has opened the doors, the perfume of that creator comes through. Fragrance, not stench. Fragrance comes, and it is such a fragrance that a person's min, body, time and everything else submerge in that perfume. And when a person feels that perfume, smells it - that is what is called "peace". This is peace.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Aaj- Today Aaj- Today [10:29 min] Coming and going from this world - is like the waves come and go. This is your life. There was darkness before sunrise, and there will be, after sunset. But this day that you've got - what will you do today? Because this life is today. In this life of today, will come afternoon and then the dusk, and thenn the sun will slowly set.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Millions of years ago on this planet Millions of years ago on this planet [18:43 min] There is this whole world. You're alive. You live on this planet. What is this planed made of? Dirt, nothing else. What is the true? What is a lie? It can all be understood with one connection. And that connection is with the master. Because the true teacher not only explains, but he also allows you to experience what he talks about.
There was a time when this earth did not exist. Dust came together to form this earth. And here on this earth, we've all heard many stories. About 5,000 years back, 6,000 years back. But do you know what had happened millions of years ago on this planet? Millions of years ago, human beings did not rule this earth. There were huge, and you have no idea how huge! Huge creatures walking around shaking the earth. They were the rulers. How big were their teeth? One tooth as big as you're. Just one tooth! And those animals ruled this planet not for 1,000 years, or 5,000 years; they ruled for millions of years. What remains of them today? Just bones. And of those that evolved, they're alive today but they're now smaller. Why am I telling you all this? Because it has relation to the master as well.

Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Talking to students from Bengal University Talking to students from Bengal University [09:35 min]
Q: Is it selfish to get peace of mind?
A: Selfish is so relative. When we have the luxury of sitting somewhere, then is it selfish. If you are in search for true self, then is it selfish? if my action deprives somebody of something, then it is selfish. But when I am going to discover myself, not the other person- who am I depriving of what? Secondly, the creator has given the gift of breath. Give it to somebody else. You can't! To search for yourself, is not selfish. So that's not the case.

Q: What is true joy, and how can we experience that?
A: It is within you.
"Aatam anubhav gyaan ki, jo koi pooche baat!
so goonga gud khaye ke, kahe kaun mukh swaad!"
How can I explain to you, when I can't even explain the taste of kiwi fruit. You experience it yourself. That is why it is so exciting. This is not a philosphy. Its not that I just come and talk to you for an hour "You should find the God within. Ok kid, bye!" No, I back-up every word that I say. Around the world, I show this to people, tell to people, and also make them experience it!
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Kya shanti sambhav hai? Kya shanti sambhav hai? [06:39 min] People pray for good job, good husband/wife, good kids. Their ulterior aim is to be in peace. We just never realize that.
I've come to say this- peace is orthogonal to all the situations in your life. You fulfill all your responibilities in whichever you want. But their is one personal responsibility to your own self. This is your personal venture- Have peace in this life!
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Computer, and the three Termites Computer, and the three Termites [06:15 min] There was a time when computers were not available to public. When it first came, I bought one. At that time computer didn't have the screen either. You had to buy that separately. There was no concept of packaged software. A thick book would come with the computer. And you'll have to write the software yourself for getting the task done. It was meant to save time. Did it? Nope. Reading the book, going through the code, debugging it. It used to eat up all the time.
And today, the software comes packaged, and you don't need to do all those stuffs. Just install it, waste even more of your time! On one side the world tells you, it saves your time. you just follow the trend.

The termites dwell in you, and making you hollow. People have such an imagination of happiness. To have a beautiful family, and to have dinner together. But what happens when there's a fight? If people listen to your hopes, you're a Shake Chilli (an unrealistic Indian Character). There are three types of termites consuming you day and night. How would you get rid of them?
