Hit-anhit pashu pakhsiye jaana,
Manush tan gun-gyaan nidhaana.
Whatever you do in your life, all is covered in this "Hit-anhit". But even animals and birds know what is good for them and what is bad. What do you think of when you get up in the morning? You think of your daily chores, you think about your work. People who do not go out for work think that they have to make their kitchen. Do you know even a crow gets up in the morning, at times even before you. And what does he do after getting up, he thinks how will he get the days food. So, we think we are a human being but we do the same what birds and animals do. So, where is the difference? The difference is that, being a human being, you can attain self-knowledge. There are so many forms of knowledge in this world. The knowledge of art of cooking, knowledge of the art of studying and so on. But amongst all, it has been said that "self-knowledge" is the most supreme of all knowledge. Kabir Das ji has said,Manush tan gun-gyaan nidhaana.
Vidhi-hari-har jaako dhyaan karat hain, Muni jan sahas atthasi,
Soi hans tere ghat maahi, Alakh purush avinashi.
That supreme being is within you. The one who created the entire universe, made his home in your heart.
Soi hans tere ghat maahi, Alakh purush avinashi.

Paahan Pooje hari mile, to main poojun pahad,
Isse to chakki bhali, pees khaaye sansar.
People are caught in concepts and convictions, but god has created this earth. And if god himself has created this world, why will it not be heaven. Do you accept this? Is this not heaven? And which heaven do you think about, the one which can be attained after death. If you are a true scholar, then understand that this earth, is heaven. And if someone has turned this heaven to hell, then it is man. You have been given this beautiful gift of existence but you have not opened this gift as yet. This breath comes again and again, this gift of existence is showered upon you, but you do not understand its value. God is everywhere. Understand, reflect and think on this and make your life successful. This is the opportunity.
Isse to chakki bhali, pees khaaye sansar.

Since I was young, I have been telling people how fortunate they are, because they have been given this gift of existence. And I am doing the same now. You may belong to any religion. You can still practice this knowledge, it does not matter whether you belong to this religion or that. If you want to go to heaven, experience the heaven in this life. If at all there is salvation, it is in this life that you can attain it. If you have still not discovered yourself, if you are still ignorant, then it is the biggest inauspicious thing that can happen to you. I can save you from this inauspiciousness. I can give you that knowledge, if you come to me with that sincerity. Whatever I give, I will give it as a gift from a human being to the other. Come from that sincere place within you.

You look beautiful when peace dances on your face. That's when you look beautiful. And that is your true form- you don't know this form. This is your thirst, and you don't know your thirst. This is your hunger, but you don't know this hunger. And the day you recognize your true hunger, your true thirst, then everything will change for you. Because what you're looking for, you will find within you, very close to you. That's my message.
When it comes to matters of the heart, how can you compromise? The heart will not accept it. The heart wants the reality. The heart wants experience. Not somebody sitting there and telling you that you've had food- you've eaten, and it's done. What is done? So, I say that you're thirsty. You are thirsty to experience that supreme bliss.

Tera saai tujh mein, jyon pushpan mein vaas,
Kasturi ka mrig jo, ban ban dhoonde ghaas.
Do you know the creator who dwells in your heart? We search him everywhere on the outside, but never realize that he is seated in our heart. If at all there is heaven, it is here, in this world. Mukti does not happen after death, it happens here.
Kasturi ka mrig jo, ban ban dhoonde ghaas.

hum to satnaam vyaapari
koi koi laade kaasaan peetal
koi koi laung supari
hum to ladyo naam dhani ko
puran khet hamari.
Everyone wants to go to heaven. Many people give out things and money also, to earn good deeds so that they get heaven after death. I don't talk of heaven after death. I talk of heaven being alive.
koi koi laade kaasaan peetal
koi koi laung supari
hum to ladyo naam dhani ko
puran khet hamari.

The true need, he said, is within the heart, and it is up to the heart to say what it is. It needs to be experienced for oneself. Unless peace is experienced in the heart, he continued, a person will remain unsatisfied. When the heart is at peace, on the other hand, the need to satisfy a long list of needs is replaced by an expression of gratitude for being alive.
He added that however deep the darkness may be, a lamp is always burning within us, and that within us are the answers that we are looking for. We search for questions because we think they will lead us to answers, but at some point we need to search for answers. If we find answers without the questions, he concluded, that would be very good.
