Seems like God has special arrangement for these places. You all have come to listen, and I have to say a lot of things, but I will put forward my main points for you to think. In this world if you ask if they think about self knowledge. They say they don't have time, we will do it later. People think "earn eat and have fun". Now that you people have come, I will explain you. Even I have come to say the same thing "Earn, Eat, and have fun!". But what you should earn, is different. World thinks money, I say earn the name of God 'Satnaam'- The Truth. There are many businessmen out there. I'm also a businessmen.

Everyone wants to go to heaven. Many people give out things and money also, to earn good deeds so that they get heaven after death. I don't talk of heaven after death. I talk of heaven being alive.

Science city auditorium Kolkata (Calcutta) [41:00 min] Event was held in Calcutta (kolkata) in science city auditorium, primarily for college students. At the end of cheerful talk by Maharaji, students asked many questions to him. His rock solid answer with love only them gasping for more.

Q: Many of us are becoming spiritual in order to search peace of mind. Do you think we are becoming selfish, or is it some kind of divine planning?

A: Selfish is so relative! When we have the luxury of sitting somewhere. Then is it like selfish? If my action deprives somebody of something, then it selfish. But when I am going to discover myself, not the other person; who am I depriving of what? Secondly, the creator has given you gift of breath- Now give this to somebody else! You can't! Even if you want to, you can't. Is that selfish? It is NOT selfish. It is what it is. To search for yourself is not selfish, because you are not depriving anybody of anything.

Q: Maharaji, my question is "What is true joy, and how can we experience this in our life"

A: It is within you.
Aatam anubhav gyaan ki, jo koi pooche baat
So gunga gud khaaye ke, kahe kaun mukh swaad!

How can I describe the experience of knowledge. When I cannot explain you the taste of Kiwi Fruit, how can I explain you the feeling of Self-Knowledge! You have to experience it yourself. This is the possibility. That is why it is so exciting! This is not a philosophy. I have not come to say "do this and that", and then disappear. No. I am not here to give you give an hour lecture "You should find the God within you. Ok kid bye!"
"Nai, Main apne saare shubdon ke peeche hoon"- I backup up every word I say!
And that is what makes it so exciting. Around the world - Saare Sansaar ke andar, Main logon ko ye dikhata hoon, batata hoon, aur anubhav karata hoon (I show this to people, tell them, and also make them experience this)!

Immeasurable Peace [03:24 min] Nobody talks to us about this life. We only have our realizations about importance of this life, when there is a fiasco. That's not how it should be. Fiascos and disasters should be avoided. They shouldn't be the very things that give us the impetus to change.
We have gotten so involved in formulas that we forget what we are trying to accomplish. Sometimes when I'm sleeping at night, I've dreams. In my dreams I'm usually talking to people. And not only talking to people, but saying incredibly nice stuffs. From one such a dream, I'll tell you a story that I was telling.

Andheri Sports complex Mumbai [41:54 min] Maharaji explained that all people have needs. Some are basic needs such as thirst, hunger, or sleep that need to be satisfied. Numerous businesses have been created to satisfy these needs. In many ways it could be said that the world is need-driven. On the other hand, many needs, he said, have been created by society, and it is society that tells us we should fulfill them. Trying to fulfill these needs that are not our real needs often becomes stressful. We long for more money or for a better job, but these are not our fundamental needs. They are dictated by the society, and they will never be satisfied completely. He explained that the true need is the need that the heart believes to be true. Since we cannot fulfill all our needs, at least we need to fulfill the one main need we can fulfill, the one need that the heart knows to be true.

The true need, he said, is within the heart, and it is up to the heart to say what it is. It needs to be experienced for oneself. Unless peace is experienced in the heart, he continued, a person will remain unsatisfied. When the heart is at peace, on the other hand, the need to satisfy a long list of needs is replaced by an expression of gratitude for being alive.

He added that however deep the darkness may be, a lamp is always burning within us, and that within us are the answers that we are looking for. We search for questions because we think they will lead us to answers, but at some point we need to search for answers. If we find answers without the questions, he concluded, that would be very good.

Someone asked me if I believe in process of evolution. I said God created nature and the nature created us. The creator created the process of evolution. The creator has created you through the medium of evolution. And everything has been created for a reason. People can argue that if eyes were on the leg, then walking would have been easier. But there is a reason to put eyes on the head. You are given two ears so that you don't only hear, but also know the origin of the sound. You have given two eyes so that not only can you see, but also understand the depth of the object. Know the fact, that God himself has created you. He has not done one, but many many favors to you. People say to God to prove if he exists. And he is proving himself through each breath you breath!

Chinta Kiski? [24:42 min] What is worth enough we should be worried about ? The meaning of life, or the answer to the question "What is the meaning of life?", pertains to the significance of living or existence in general.
Creator created a miracle. What's the miracle? The dirt that doesn't move on it's own, started moving. Dirt started speaking and even thinking. What's the first thing that the dirt thought with it is thinking power? That it's not dirt!

But after seeing through my eyes, I believe that India and its citizens, and the brothers and sisters who have come from abroad, accept Maharaji's message from their heart and lead their life accordingly. Maharaji:Everyone has heard about God, but no one actually knows him. If they had known God for real, then there would have been no killing in the name of the God. God- The one who exists inside every human being, you know about this in theory, but couldn't never find out for reality.

People spend tremendous amount of money to make everyone merciful, so that they don't get angry. But think for a moment, when you are happy from within, don't you automatically become peaceful? When you are happy some day, you automatically become kind. If someone tries to come ahead of you in a cinema theatre line, you can beat him to death. But if you are in good mood, you will even give him the space to come ahead. Why is it so?

Unless there is peace inside, outside its only absurd. People say it is not possible to bring peace. But I know it is possible, because I'm reaching people one by one. Lamp has to be lit one by one. People get caught up in descriptions, and miss out the actual experience.

Shouting out "money money" doesn't make you any rich. Similarly, shouting "Peace Peace" doesn't bring peace.
