Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Main kaun hoon? Main kaun hoon? [32:37 min] There are two questions
1) Why am I here?
2) Who am I?
So I started thinking on which one of the two is better question. If you get to know on who you're, then it won't be long before you understand on what I'm doing here.

Let me first introduce you, to you. So far you've been introduced to others. All things that are manufactured, like cellphone, address books, computers etc; what do we use it for? To learn about other's contacts. So what is our address, our number? Where did we come from? Where will we go? How many names do we know? And what is our real name?
These are big questions; not small ones! If you take all these questions in a bucket, we'll see that there are many ideas around these questions.

Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Andheri Sports complex Mumbai Andheri Sports complex Mumbai [41:54 min] Maharaji explained that all people have needs. Some are basic needs such as thirst, hunger, or sleep that need to be satisfied. Numerous businesses have been created to satisfy these needs. In many ways it could be said that the world is need-driven. On the other hand, many needs, he said, have been created by society, and it is society that tells us we should fulfill them. Trying to fulfill these needs that are not our real needs often becomes stressful. We long for more money or for a better job, but these are not our fundamental needs. They are dictated by the society, and they will never be satisfied completely. He explained that the true need is the need that the heart believes to be true. Since we cannot fulfill all our needs, at least we need to fulfill the one main need we can fulfill, the one need that the heart knows to be true.

The true need, he said, is within the heart, and it is up to the heart to say what it is. It needs to be experienced for oneself. Unless peace is experienced in the heart, he continued, a person will remain unsatisfied. When the heart is at peace, on the other hand, the need to satisfy a long list of needs is replaced by an expression of gratitude for being alive.

He added that however deep the darkness may be, a lamp is always burning within us, and that within us are the answers that we are looking for. We search for questions because we think they will lead us to answers, but at some point we need to search for answers. If we find answers without the questions, he concluded, that would be very good.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Chinta (Tension) Chinta (Tension) [09:44 min] People keep worrying about everything and gets so lost that they even forget about food. They worry about tomorrow. There should be only one worry: in my life too, I experience that peace. Not just one day; everyday! This the misconception with people- That we need to experience peace just once. If you drink water one day, don't you need to drink next day? Similarly, there is need to feel peace everyday in your life.

What is second misconception? That I'll need to leave my family for peace. Who told you that? You need to sacrifice one for the other.

Maharaji also tells an interesting story of a Jinny.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Event at Chandrapur, Maharashtra- 22nd November 2009 Event at Chandrapur, Maharashtra- 22nd November 2009 [46:32 min] What I want to tell you is truly very simple. God says to Arjun, "Neither through pilgrimage, nor through fasting, neither through giving, nor through virtue, can you gain my knowledge." Because if you do not know the truth, whatever you know becomes a lie. If you do not know the truth, then you will not be able to realize whether you are after the truth or after something which is fake. There are so many religions in this world. All of us are vessels in which the same water is filled. The only difference is in the vessel, it is the same water which fills all the vessels. Truth dwells within you.
Tera saai tujh mein, jyon pushpan mein vaas,
Kasturi ka mrig jo, ban ban dhoonde ghaas.
Do you know the creator who dwells in your heart? We search him everywhere on the outside, but never realize that he is seated in our heart. If at all there is heaven, it is here, in this world. Mukti does not happen after death, it happens here.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Maharaji at Nagaur, Rajasthan- 11th Nov 2009 Maharaji at Nagaur, Rajasthan- 11th Nov 2009 [63:48 min] This event was held at Nagaur in Rajasthan on 11th November 2009. Nagaur is the land where Meera Bai was born. Maharaji said,
Hit-anhit pashu pakhsiye jaana,
Manush tan gun-gyaan nidhaana.
Whatever you do in your life, all is covered in this "Hit-anhit". But even animals and birds know what is good for them and what is bad. What do you think of when you get up in the morning? You think of your daily chores, you think about your work. People who do not go out for work think that they have to make their kitchen. Do you know even a crow gets up in the morning, at times even before you. And what does he do after getting up, he thinks how will he get the days food. So, we think we are a human being but we do the same what birds and animals do. So, where is the difference? The difference is that, being a human being, you can attain self-knowledge. There are so many forms of knowledge in this world. The knowledge of art of cooking, knowledge of the art of studying and so on. But amongst all, it has been said that "self-knowledge" is the most supreme of all knowledge. Kabir Das ji has said,
Vidhi-hari-har jaako dhyaan karat hain, Muni jan sahas atthasi,
Soi hans tere ghat maahi, Alakh purush avinashi.
That supreme being is within you. The one who created the entire universe, made his home in your heart.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - What is the identity of a master? What is the identity of a master? [03:03 min] How do people recognize Gurus these days? By the Tilak, by the hair, by Kurta, Mala and all. Guru can't be recognized by all these things, or his body. He can only be recognized by his 'Tatva Gyaan'- the knowledge he offers.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Prem se koi aata hai Prem se koi aata hai [16:07 min] This video is an excerpt from one of his events at Delhi, India in 2008.
The creator has given you everything. The creator has given you everything that you need, everything that you require. We don't have the means to extract nectar from flowers like the honeybees. Human beings can go to the moon, but if we want honey, we need the bees.

In this human body that we have, there is a desire to have joy, bliss. And there is no limit to how much joy we can receive.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - East Champaran, Bihar- 2014 East Champaran, Bihar- 2014 [05:10 min] Do you know who you are? I will tell you. Water doesn't have any shape. Air, doesn't have any color. but when both of them meet, they become cloud. Not forever; it keeps changing. But for sometime, it is cloud. And the drop will change the land where it falls.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Kathmandu, Nepal- 2014 Kathmandu, Nepal- 2014 [04:54 min] To the person who is in peace, he has everything inspite of having nothing. If you're not in peace, you won't get proper sleep, you won't be able to enjoy anything in your life. Do you think hunger is only requirement for having food? No, peace is needed too. People who are restless, often don't eat even if they're hungry- they say, "I'm not in mood"!
Mann ke bahaut tarang hain
chhin chhin badle soye
Ek hi rang mein jo rahe
aisa birla koye!
