Prem Rawat - Maharaji - The Importance of Peace The Importance of Peace [31:22 min] In June 2014, Prem Rawat was the keynote speaker at Central Hall, Westminster, for an event sponsored by the Water and Food Award (WAFA). At this event, WAFA celebrated humanitarian efforts that have initiated the most innovative, sustainable and replicable projects to provide nutritious food and clean water to those most in need. “In a way, all our efforts that we are trying to make, whether it is sustainability, whether it is to feed the hungry, whether it is to bring clean water—in our own little way, we want to create a little heaven right here on earth. And who will ever blame us for thinking so wildly? Because that is a wild vision—to want to create a little heaven for us and for our fellow beings. And to leave a legacy of that heaven for the generations yet to come, so they keep on living the dream of creating a little heaven in their time, for the time ahead of them.”
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Stories for Peace Stories for Peace [14:49 min] For a lot of people the question becomes, "What is peace?"
It is individual human beings, who need the peace. Who will benefit? We will benefit. Our future generations will benefit. A place they can proudly call their own, is the rarest thing around for miles and miles. I don't want to give you false hope. And I never said peace on this earth is going to be easy.
When they were deciding on how to go to the moon, a lot of people said it cannot be done. The trip to the moon was successful not because of people who said it cannot be done. But it was made successful by people who said it can be done. Every climb begins with a step. Every ladder has the first rung. Every stair has the first step. And yes, you can take it. Let us know just hope, but do whatever we can, to bring peace on this earth.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - The Quest for Fulfillment The Quest for Fulfillment [24:01 min] "Why Peace? ... 7 billion people on the face of this earth are crying out for one thing and one thing alone and that is peace".

In our lives, we need inspiration so that we can do those things which can make the most of this lifetime. Something that gives meaning to being here, being alive. These are the driving engines that are going to inspire me to enjoy my self. This is about you, just you.
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Ambassador for Peace Presentation- Rome, Italy, December 2012 Ambassador for Peace Presentation- Rome, Italy, December 2012 [07:18 min] Honorable members of the Parliament, government and distinguished guests. Some times we forget what this process of peace is. There are many ideas of what Peace is. The most practical example I can give is, when you clean something. What do you do- Do you the clean from a bottle and spread it all over? Or do you take the dirt and remove it? When the dirt is removed, whatever it is- becomes clean automatically. When people talk about peace, there are many ideas.
The peace that I'm talking about, is the inate peace that lies in the heart of every single human being. So people say, "How come I don't feel it, see it, don't know about it?" Ah, the cleaning! There are too many things between the purity of human being and everything else. The process of peace is to take away all that exist between human beings. Not add things, but to take away. And it is very easy. You see, it is very easy to gain weight, but lose weight. Very easy to lose money, very hard to gain it. Not everything has the same rule.
I say to the world, Don't be fooled by the glitter, by the progress what we think is. Because the mantra of people today is only one- What can I do! Light a lamp of hope in yourself. One of the things that is wonderful about the laughter, about the happiness and peace indeed, is that it is contagious. Spread this contagious feeling of peace!
I heard what the prisoners in Zonderwaters had to say to me- the comments. One of the comments that has stuck in my head- One inmate said, "I've been in prison for quite a while and I've never felt happy being in prison. But today, I did! I feel so full." When he said that, just one person. But when he said that, somehow it my 3 month tour worth it. Because a human being felt happiness that day. Peace is a necessity my friend, not a luxury. Maybe the time has come to start looking at this world in a new way. And it begins with all of us. One step at a time.
Thank you very much, and I hope the peace that is inside of you, illuminates.

Prem Rawat - Maharaji - International Peace day message from UNIPAZ Peace Ambassador International Peace day message from UNIPAZ Peace Ambassador [01:57 min] This is short message Maharaji shared on the International Peace day, as a UNIPAZ Peace Ambassador. Transcript of the video:

Hi, my name is Prem Rawat, and I'm so glad to be participating in International Peace Day. The importance of peace is for all of us. Sometimes we forget how important it is. But to be reminded that this is what our heart wants, that this is what is going to make a difference in this world, that this is the thirst for every single human being on the face of this earth.

We have many ideas, we have many projects, but to be a part of this noble cause that the peace be on this earth, that the peace dances in the heart of human beings, is amazing. It's incredible and to be a part of that, to understand it and to make it possible. I am just one small voice. It is when all the voices of the world will join together that this could become a reality. It is time. We have fought our wars, We have had our wars. But it is time now for peace, peace in the heart of all human beings. In the future generations to come, this is what they need. This is what we need. This is what our hearts have desired for such a long time. And to see the enthusiasm around the world from those people who want to make this a reality is simply amazing.

So once again thank you, thank you so much to be a part of this beautiful beautiful endeavor. Thank you
Prem Rawat - Maharaji - Glowing memories Glowing memories [03:00 min] Prem Rawat speaking in Barcelona, Spain.
I was talking to somebody whose mother passed away. And this person was "What about this, what about that". And I said something to him that even I liked it!

I said, "think of her as the earth and the moon. Moon came from the earth, and as it separated and went out, it's just there. It's not part of the earth anymore, but it's just there. Going around the earth beautifully, affecting it. Every night, every day- making the tides, the life, the motion. All you have to do, is look up and see the reflection of sun on it's beautiful surface- Glowing. For those who go, think of them the same way. Your little world, now they're the moon, and hopefully they're going to affect you in the most beautiful way that you're going to remember. On the night when it is really dark they'll glow for you, not only to admire but maybe see by."
